This Privacy Policy explains how LingoMind ("we", "us", "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application. By using LingoMind you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information — If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture to create and secure your account.
• Learning data — Your chosen native language and your learning progress (which words and sentences you have marked as learned).
• Purchase information — Purchase and entitlement status processed by our payment provider (we never see or store your card details).
• Guest mode — If you continue as a guest, your progress is stored only on your device and is not linked to any account.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the core learning experience and sync your progress across your devices.
• To translate words and sentences into your selected language.
• To manage premium access and restore previous purchases.
• To respond to support requests you send us.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate the app:

• Google Sign-In — for optional authentication.
• RevenueCat & Google Play Billing — to process and verify in-app purchases.
• AI language providers — English words/sentences are sent to an AI translation service to generate meanings and examples in your language. No personal account identifiers are included in these translation requests.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your account and progress data are stored securely on our cloud servers. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties for advertising. Data is shared only with the service providers listed above strictly to operate the app.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us at support@lingomind.app. We will process your request within a reasonable time.

7. Children's Privacy

LingoMind is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@lingomind.app.
